Rude, just rude all around.

Wisp blinks, though, at that observation. Opens his mouth to protest? But - well, he's seen all the other rooms now, and sure enough, there hadn't been windows there. Or. Ah. "D'you ... mean that spider thing?" he asks, uncertainly. He'd been frankly a bit charmed by it, despite the obvious potential for malice.

There certainly doesn't seem to be anything remotely special about the man in front of Bastard. If anything, he seems aggressively harmless. Plus he'd been severely outplayed just now, hadn't he? Renamed and very obedient.

Wisp is also drawing a blank. "W - what? Me? Why would I have a - a spider watching me?"

"Do I have a choice?" Wisp asks glumly. He suspects he doesn't, and ... well. He is curious too. It's likely quite obvious on his face.

Ugh. What a choice that is. Wisp screws up his face, tempted to tell him off and just leave. It ... would be pleasant to have some alone time, but.

"Company is ... better," he says after a moment. "Rather not be caught somewhere dangerous alone."

"Or we could be living in a cave, with spider stalkers," Martin snaps back. "One is much more likely."

"They - look, I don't know about you, but caves are unpleasant. And so are stalkers." Spiders on the other hand. Those are good.
